Surface Sanding
Before sanding, we inspect the deck thoroughly, replacing any rotten or damaged boards, joists, or posts where accessible. We also ensure all screws are properly countersunk.
For sanding, we assess the existing finish. Light sanding is usually enough for stained decks, but solid stains or paint require a more aggressive approach.
Here, a second pass with finer sandpaper helps tighten the wood fibers and achieve our customer’s desired color profile.

Our Cutek system offers long-term protection by deeply penetrating the wood with the first application. Over time, less stain is needed as protective layers build, making future refinishing faster and easier.
Staining is detailed work—rolling begins the process, followed by brushing to reach cracks and edges. To ensure an even finish, stain is applied in complete sections.
We offer custom color depth, from light to rich tones, and on request will provide samples for your approval.

What We Refinish.

Most projects, including inspection, power washing, sanding, and staining, take 3–4 days. 5. Finally, we finish with a high-quality marine-grade stain and sealer to protect against the elements.
